My grandfather was an officer and carpenter on one of these floating cities. However, they were much smaller in those days than the ones we see today.

My Dad was a Lieutenant (Leftenant for my American readers ) in the Navy for a while as well.
Not that that has anything to do with it, it’s just the cartoon made me laugh.
Right, now onto a herioc attempt to pull one of my posts out of draft and keep up with you prolific blogger types.
